State Q: Nov. 5, 2022 @ Bethpage Park Full Meet Results The girls team ended the season well with a solid race at the State Qualifier meet cheered on by the boys team. I have to mention Autumn Tienauchariya, who managed to push through and finish her race despite feeling a bit under the weather. Girls Minami Rodger - 24:03.19 (7:45) Morgan Beers - 24:56.46 (8:02) Sara Maltempi - 25:40.53 (8:16) Autumn Tienauchariya - 28:17.72 (9:06) Clint Miller Meet: Nov. 7, 2022 @ Eisenhower Park Full Meet Results Due to an unfortunate mistake the boys were deemed ineligible for the State Qualifier meet. However they decided to finish off their season on a high note running their last race at the Clint Miller Meet in Eisenhower. Solid performances all around, but I need to highlight Jacob Krukas and Dan Heaney who both ran PRs. Boys

Oct. 29, 2022 @ Bethpage Park Full Meet Results Well Hot Damn! Both the boys and girls teams showed that they are not phased by a bigger race and proved that they can run Bethpage as fast as they can run Eisenhower. They ran with heart and raced hard all the way through the finish line. For the first time in years, 4 boys ran under 20:00 on the Bethpage course. We also had 4 girls under 25:00. So very strong showings on both teams. While nearly everyone had a Bethpage PR, and ran close to their overall PRs, only one standout had a true PR, freshman Dan Heaney. With such a young crew of freshmen and sophomores, it looks like the future of JFK Cross Country is in good hands.
Oct. 19, 2022 @ Eisenhower Park Full Meet Results There were lots of PRs at our last meet at Eisenhower Park, with 4 boys running under 20:00. This now brings us to 5 boys with best of season times under the 20 minute mark, this may be the most we’ve had on the same team in some time. Nick Iannelli continues to be our #1 guy with a great time of 18:19, solidifying his place as one of our fastest guys in the last decade. Other PR setters were Minami Rodger (who is now under 23:00), Gabby Tejada, Morgan Beers, Mark Kadin, Ben Roth, Phil Chou, Justin Barrera, Jacob Krukas, Jayden Simon, Olivia Toto and Dan Heaney; with the last 4 running over 1:00 faster than their previous bests.
Next weekend is the big one. We are headed back to Bethpage Park for our County Championship Meet.
Oct. 8, 2022 @ Sunken Meadow Park Full Meet Results The Boys and Girls Varsity teams headed out to Sunken Meadow Park to compete in their first invitational of the season and to take on the infamous Cardiac Hill. Both teams dug in and rose to the challenge. This meet is a reminder that times are not always a reflection of the quality of the race. The hills on the Sunken Meadow course are brutal, but unlike many runners, our runners did not let the hills scare them, they dug deep and conquered, leaving many of Cardiac's victims in their wake. The athletes looked strong, had fun and came away with some ribbons.
Oct. 6, 2022 @ Bethpage Park Full Meet Results While some did struggle with our last league meet is was not too bad overall, and though it was tough the team managed to push through and preserved (😊). I want to highlight Chris Keating, Jacob Krukas and Olivia Toto, who all ran great and PR'd. Team Results
Next up is the Grade Champs @ Eisenhower Park on 10/19
Sept. 29, 2022 @ Eisenhower Park Full Meet Results Mind Blown!!!! Both teams had an amazing meet with 100% PRs, and most of those PRs were over 1:00. The athletes continue to work hard and show that they believe in their training and they believe in themselves. They are listening and absorbing and prove that they can push pass their perceived threshold and fight for their place on the course. As coaches, we are ever so proud. I have to mention Jacob Krukas who successfully earned a spot on the Varsity 7 by running the 4th fastest time on the team. Biggest PR of the day goes to Jonathan Salerno, who dropped a whopping 6:54 going from 35:33 to 28:39. Great Job teams! Team Scores
Next week we are at Bethpage vs. Mepham, Great Neck South, Elmont
Let's keep this power train going!!! Sept. 19, 2022 @ Bethpage Park Full Meet Results Each week the team continues to keep pushing and work hard. While some may consider the Bethpage course to be a tougher course and a "slower" course, many of our runners managed to significantly improve on their 5K time from Eisenhower Park. Team Scores
Next week we are at Eisenhower vs. MacArthur, Jericho & Garden City
Sept. 13, 2022 @ Bethpage Park Full meet results Another great job guys. I was happy to see many of you charging out of the woods and running strong around the polo field. Bethpage isn't easy but you guys have been working hard and showing that you can persevere 😉. I want to mention Gabby Tejada, Justin Barrera & Jayden Simon, respectively, they improved their 2K performance from last year by 25s, 1 min and 54s. Great job you three. Team Scores
Next week we are at Bethpage vs. Sewanhaka
Sept. 9, 2022 @ Eisenhower Park Full meet results It was a good meet opener, with some solid performances all around. The athletes managed to push through discomfort and fight to the finish. I would be remiss if I did not mention the breakthrough performances of Autumn Tienauchariya, a cross country newbie, and Sara Maltempi, a fall trackie, who were our top 2 finishers. In mentioning Sara, I want to highlight the fact that although she trains with Fall Track, she decided to step up to Varsity to help the team achieve a score since we were down a Varsity runner. I believed she even surprised herself with her performance. Team Scores
Next week we are at Bethpage vs. Long Beach, New Hyde Park & Great Neck North.
